"I have injured my right ankle varied times since 1978.  Severe sprains, broken once, also I ripped the ligament across the top of my foot.  The doctor said if I hurt the right ankle one more time it will be surgical repair. Therefore, when my LEFT ankle cracked and turned under last Friday, I knew what I had done.

"I pondered if I should be going to an emergency room as I got ice and propped the left ankle on a chair and called my husband.
